Illinois State Standards
The 2008 International Summer Institute: Multiple
Perspectives in Teaching World History is not only an opportunity to expose yourself to
the opportunity of internationalizing your curriculum through various
historical and current perspectives, it is also
a seminar that will fulfill many of the state and national standards that
must be met in this era of assessment and accountability. The
following is a multidisciplinary list of the Illinois State Standards that
will be covered during the seminar. Further, the seminar will also
fulfill multiple technology standards through the presentations use of
film, art, computer technology and other multimedia experiences used
independently or in conjunction with one another. For a list of
